    “Het moderne Korinthe is niet zo'n aantrekkelijke vakantiestad, maar het oude Korinthe is prachtig en het kanaal is absoluut ook de moeite waard. Overal vind je strandjes waar je een duik kan nemen in de zee en zelfs in het volle zomerseizoen hadden wij nooit het gevoel dat het overbevolkt was op de stranden.”

    “Korinth ist durch die Autobahnanbindung der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Fahrten ins Umland, z.B. nach Athen, Epidauros, Olympia und Kalamata. Die Stadt Korinth ist kein typischer Touristenort, dafür authentisch. In der Stadt kann man gut und günstig essen und bekommt alles Wesentliche. Drei Autominuten von der Ferienwohnung ist der Supermarkt "Galaxias", der günstig und sehr gut sortiert ist (probieren Sie `mal den Feta-Käse aus dem Holzfass). Von der Ferienwohnung sind es 10min zu Fuß bis zu einem kleinen Kiesstrand, an dem man gut baden kann, es gibt auch eine kleine Strandbar. Die Stelle ist 500m von der Einfahrt zum Korinth-Kanal entfernt. Die Mole der Kanaleinfahrt ist begehbar (in Badekleidung!), einfahrende Schiffe kann man zum Greifen nah beobachten. Auf der nördlichen Kanalseite (5km mit dem Auto) ist der mondäne/touristisch erschlossene Badestrand Loutraki, dort gibt es Strandbars und Restaurants in Hülle und Fülle.”
