    “Das nahe Ort Kantia besitzt ein kleines Lebensmittelgeschäft, eine Bäckerei (herrliches Brot) sowie einige Strandbars und zwei Tavernen. Wir haben wiederholt „Tzavaras“ besucht und wurden mit herrlich frischem Fisch nett bewirtet (wir befolgten und testeten fast alle kulinarische Empfehlungen der Hausbesitzer und wurden nie enttäuscht). Die urige Kantia ist zwar keine touristische Perle (dafür muss man u.a. nach Nafplio fahren), hat aber Ruhe und zivile Preise zu bieten wenn man will. Der Strand war erstaunlicherweise Anfang September fast menschenleer! Wir erwähnt ein Ausflug zur alten griechischen Hauptstadt Nafplio ist ein Muss. Unterwegs die Lebensmitteleinkäufe unbedingt in Drepano bei Maria (Maria Supermarket) erledigen!”

    “Kantia is a nice little resort with a few fish restaurants and shops. The beach is shingle but bring shoes as there are pebbles as you walk in the sea. We particularly liked Giorgos taverna (formerly Kostas) - good food, by the sea and very welcoming.”

    “Vi utforskade inte Kantia i någon större utsträckning utan utförde de mesta av våra ärenden i Nafplion vilket var en mycket trevlig stad (5 cirklar).”
