    “Der Ort ist sehr urtümlich, romantisch und für uns der schönste Ort der Insel, wenn man nicht gerade eine lebhafte Touristenstadt vorzieht. Die verwinkelten Gassen sind malerisch, es gibt einige gute Restaurants mit toller Aussicht auf das Meer und das Festland, Es gibt zwei "Tante Emma"-Läden, mehrere Souvenirshops, aber keine Touristenmeile zum Bummeln. Zum Strand hinunter sind es ca. 400 steile Meter, hier sind Hunde jedoch unerwünscht. Der nächste Hundestrand ist eine schöne, ruhige, aber nicht bewirtschaftete Bucht (Malo Javni), die ca. 4 km nördlich von Vrbnik liegt. Tagsüber sind etliche Touristen (oft auch zur Weinprobe) im Ort, abends ist das Dorf eher ruhig.”
